Melissa, the creator of Menopausal Brunette is, in fact, a 55 year-old menopausal brunette. She lives in Asheville, NC with her husband and their 13 year-old shih tzu. They have two young adult children who are sometimes home.
Besides her family and friends, some of the things she loves most are: books, Fall (especially the cooler weather), watching college basketball, keeping a nice home (on a budget), their annual family vacation to the coast, streaming addicting tv series and working on her labor of love, Menopausal Brunette.
