Pumpkin Bread
Easy, no-fail, delicious pumpkin bread recipe.
- 2 cups canned pumpkin
- 1½ cups sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 3 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- ½ tsp salt
Preheat oven to 350°.
Grease and flour two 8X4" loaf pans.
In large bowl add the pumpkin, sugar, oil and eggs. Stir to combine.
Combine all the dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
Add dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture and stir to combine well.
Bake on a lower rack in oven for about 50 minutes.
I usually test with toothpick for doneness. Cool in pan a bit on cooling rack before turning out to cool further.
