Pumpkin Bread

Easy, no-fail, delicious pumpkin bread recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups canned pumpkin
  • cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Grease and flour two 8X4" loaf pans.
  • In large bowl add the pumpkin, sugar, oil and eggs. Stir to combine.
  • Combine all the dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
  • Add dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture and stir to combine well.
  • Bake on a lower rack in oven for about 50 minutes.
  • I usually test with toothpick for doneness. Cool in pan a bit on cooling rack before turning out to cool further.
